Story behind the flowers: I get into a cab. I started talking with cab driver. Cab driver gets on phone briefly. I may or may not have silently (and secretly) cried my eyeballs out because I had a bad day. Cab driver gets off phone. Cab driver tries to continue our conversation. Cab driver looks back and realizes I am bumming. Cab driver reaches over to passenger seat and hands me adorable bouquet of flowers. Cab driver made my night.
